I love the flexible, yet unrelenting strength of bamboo, and the way these giants of the grass family grow upward in cylindrical lines--a steady evergreen that's not easily taken down. They remind me of the devoutness of friendship, strength in togetherness, and what it means to be there for someone through thick and thin, no matter what comes.
